The YDASH Program offers students the opportunity to experience extracurricular activities while learning new skills and building relationships in an educational environment. Along with giving middle school students a safe place to be after school, the YMCA focuses on presenting the student with an array of speakers and activities that will spark creative thinking and endless possibilities. Activities vary by site but include homework time, group games, sports, arts & crafts, character development and special interest clubs. YDASH sites include Braden River, Buffalo Creek, Haile, Nolan, Johnson, King, Lee, and Sugg Middle Schools. (Sugg held at Bradenton Branch).
FEE: $25 registration fee. $54/month, per child for bank draft OR $62/month by check or money order. Discount for students receiving free/reduced lunch.
Note: New YDASH middle school students receive a full time student membership to the Y, which is upgradeable for family.
Registration begins May 1st and continues throughout the school year.
