All proceeds of this event will benefit our 2019 Community Support Campaign. Your support will help families in our neighborhoods, truly making a difference in their lives! Your generous donations enable the Y to award scholarships to families in need. Together we can ensure that everyone regardless of age, income, or background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in a YMCA program. Together we can do so much more!

Our 2019 Community Champion: Mary Glass

Our 2019 recipient of the Community Champion Award goes to Mary Glass, President of the Manatee Education Foundation. Mary commits herself daily to the importance of families and children in Manatee County. Join us to celebrate her!

“The YMCA’s mission and history is sown into the fabric of our country, culture, and certainly our Manatee County community.  The thread by which it is sown are the transcendent values that make for healthy individuals and society. We wanted to celebrate with an annual event individuals whose work and life’s service champions and exemplifies those values.  Mary Glass and her work for education and our youth is very deserving as our first honoree.”  Sean Allison, CEO and President of the Manatee Family YMCA
